Outsourced payroll and accounting
Not every business wants to run payroll and accounting in-house. LAR and Associates can run them for you: we capture, check and process the payroll each month, handle the statutory submissions, and can take on the full accounting function.
The product
As your payroll service provider we capture input and changes, review them before processing and run the monthly payroll with its regular and variable payments and deductions, so payslips go out on time. We handle new and terminated employees, annual increases, bonuses, arrears and leave, including leave reconciliation and the leave pay provision.
We keep the payroll statutorily compliant: PAYE, UIF and SDL deductions, the monthly UIF submission file, EMP501 reconciliations and IRP5s on e@syFile, annual COID returns, and skills and employment equity returns. We implement statutory changes as they come.
Each month we reconcile third-party schedules and payments and all payroll-related general ledger accounts, prepare the payroll journal for finance, generate bank (ACB) payment files and explain variances.
For some clients we run the full accounting function, including payroll, on Sage 300, with their servers hosted by LAR.
